FIRMS across Halton have fewer than two weeks left to apply for the 2018 Queen’s Awards For Enterprise.

Now in its 52nd year, they are among the most respected business awards in the country, recognising and celebrating outstanding achievements by UK firms in the fields of innovation, international trade, sustainable development, and promoting opportunity.

Winners are invited to attend a reception at Buckingham Palace.

Claiming an award offers global recognition, a boost to staff morale and increased growth.

“We have some of the most innovative and vibrant entrepreneurial and business talent in the world and the Queen’s Awards reflect the vital role that they play in driving our economy.”

Previous winners across the North West include businesses leading the way in a broad range of industries – from Inclusive Technology Ltd who are pioneering techniques to support students with access and learning needs to Euromixers Ltd who can whip up anything from a soft drink to a life-saving vaccine with their internationally successful portable mixers.

Almost all UK businesses, including non-profit ones, can apply for free.

Applications are made online and businesses may apply for more than one category.
