Ladies night at Take That star’s former home
A CHARITY based in Runcorn for children and families affected by the deaths of loved ones is hosting a ladies event at pop legend Gary Barlow’s former mansion.
Child Bereavement UK will be hosting the lunch to boost awareness, engage a bigger female audience and raise cash.
A spokesman for the charity said it will also be a unique opportunity to enjoy the beautiful surroundings of Delamere Manor in Cuddington.
The ladies lunch is due to take place on Thursday, October 12, and will feature a champagne reception, three-course lunch, celebrity host, musicians, raffle and a fashion show as well as the after-party at ‘The Club’ recording studio.
Child Bereavement UK offers free support to children, young people and families when a child of any age dies or is dying, or when a child is facing the loss of a relative.
Gary Barlow now has links to Runcorn via his patronage of Child Bereavement UK but the popstar cut his teeth as a young musician playing the piano and singing in the town’s pubs, including the Halton Royal British Legion and Waterloo.
Seb Farrell, fundraising officer, said: “This is going to be a totally unique event in one of the most beautiful spots in the North West.
“There’s also an exclusive opportunity to join us for an evening in Gary Barlow’s former home recording studio, The Club, for drinks and entertainment by the incredible Six15 for just £50.”
