Wedding fair event

SOON-TO-BE brides and grooms are being invited to a wedding fair in Widnes run by Halton Borough Council.

The free event will be held at the Select Security Stadium from noon to 4pm on Sunday, October 22.

Guests can tour the various impressive suites and will have the opportunity to discuss with the staff all their various requirements for their big day.

There will be a huge variety of products and services to cater for different wedding and partnership needs.

The exhibitors will include caterers, entertainers, florists, event planners, hair and beauty, jewellers, licensed venues, photographers, transport and wedding wear with lots of original ideas to give a wedding a special flavour. Brides and grooms to be also have the chance to win their reception for free.

Halton Borough Council’s executive board member for the stadium, Cllr Phil Harris, said: “What better way to find out what we can offer couples planning to tie the knot in the borough? Staff from the stadium as well as a wide range of exhibitors will be there, covering all aspects of your big day.”

The event is free and there will be giveaways on the day.
