Thief is fined

A RUNCORN woman has been fined for stealing £164 of electrical goods and detergents from Asda.

Court papers said Nicola Seanne Ions, 27, of Byron Street, was fined £450 in total and told to pay £85 in prosecution costs plus a £40 victim surcharge after pleading guilty to the offence in breach of three separate conditional discharges for similar offences.

The theft at Asda was reported to have taken place on September 16, 2017.

Her actions breached three 24-month conditional discharges that were imposed at Chester Magistrates’ Court on November 25, 2015, over thefts of goods including £1 of cheese from Iceland and a TV worth £149 from Asda.
