Cops hunt pervert

-

POLICE are looking into whether the same pervert had committed two separate incidents of lewd conduct in the same area of Runcorn in two days.

A Cheshire Constabulary spokesman said the first occurrence happened in The Glen on Sunday, October 29.

Officers received reports at 9.02am that a man had exposed himself to a female dog walker on the edge of the playing fields near Halton General Hospital.

The suspect was described as between 25-40 years old, white, of medium build, about 5ft 6ins tall and wearing a beanie hat.

A day later in The Knoll, Palacefields, at about 8pm on Monday, October 30, a teenage girl was walking home from KFC on Hospital Way when a bald man aged about 40 years old is alleged to have ● followed her a short distance then shouted something lewd and inappropriate.

A Cheshire police spokesman said he did not approach or touch her.

He said: “After hearing the man’s comments the victim fled the scene and reported the incident to her parents.

“The suspect is described as a white man, bald with stubble, approximately 40-years-old, with a local accent.

“He was wearing a dark coloured tracksuit.

“Anyone with any information in relation to the incident is asked to contact Cheshire police on 101 quoting incident number 931 of October 30.”
