Cops hunt per­vert

POLICE are look­ing into whether the same per­vert had com­mit­ted two sep­a­rate in­ci­dents of lewd con­duct in the same area of Run­corn in two days.

A Cheshire Con­stab­u­lary spokesman said the first oc­cur­rence hap­pened in The Glen on Sun­day, Oc­to­ber 29.

Of­fi­cers re­ceived re­ports at 9.02am that a man had ex­posed him­self to a fe­male dog walker on the edge of the playing fields near Hal­ton Gen­eral Hos­pi­tal.

The sus­pect was de­scribed as be­tween 25-40 years old, white, of medium build, about 5ft 6ins tall and wear­ing a beanie hat.

A day later in The Knoll, Palace­fields, at about 8pm on Mon­day, Oc­to­ber 30, a teenage girl was walk­ing home from KFC on Hos­pi­tal Way when a bald man aged about 40 years old is al­leged to have ● fol­lowed her a short dis­tance then shouted some­thing lewd and in­ap­pro­pri­ate.

A Cheshire police spokesman said he did not ap­proach or touch her.

He said: “Af­ter hear­ing the man’s com­ments the vic­tim fled the scene and re­ported the in­ci­dent to her par­ents.

“The sus­pect is de­scribed as a white man, bald with stub­ble, ap­prox­i­mately 40-years-old, with a lo­cal ac­cent.

“He was wear­ing a dark coloured track­suit.

“Any­one with any in­for­ma­tion in re­la­tion to the in­ci­dent is asked to contact Cheshire police on 101 quot­ing in­ci­dent num­ber 931 of Oc­to­ber 30.”

To re­port de­tails that might help to snare the per­vert from the in­ci­dent in The Glen, quote in­ci­dent num­ber 311 of Oc­to­ber 29.
