RIGHT TO REBUKE TRUMP

- Name and address supplied

DONALD Trump retweeted racist videos produced by a neo-fascist organisation called Britain First – the same slogan shouted by the rightwing extremist who knifed to death Labour MP and young mother Jo Cox.

When the Prime Minister objected, Donald Trump told her to mind her own business.

This is the same Donald Trump who tweets attacks on London’s Labour mayor Sadiq Khan because he’s a Muslim, suggested that some white supremacists in the US are ‘good people’, and is planning massive tax cuts for the US rich while making the US the only country which refuses to sign the Paris agreement on climate change.

The same Donald Trump who put his son in law in charge of resolving the complex Israel Palestine conflict, and threw petrol on the fire by unilaterally moving the US embassy to Jerusalem, thus giving the Israel the prize they wanted, whilst uniting every country in opposition, from France to Saudi Arabia, Turkey to Iran, and potentially making the UK again a target for terrorists and a more dangerous place to live.

The same Donald Trump who Theresa May rushed to invite on a state visit to Britain, which will undoubtedly embarrass The Queen if it ever takes place, the Donald Trump that Tory politician Michael Gove cosied up to as soon as he was elected, and that former Tory leader Iain Duncan Smith and current Tory leadership front-runner Jacob Rees-Mogg said they would vote for if they were US voters, until his comments about sexually assaulting women with impunity forced them to backtrack.

While the Prime Minister is absolutely right to rebuke Donald Trump, she and her party are much more mixed up with his kind of politics than it suits her to admit.
