Laser Quest celebration
STUDENTS from the Vikings Learning Centre enjoyed a special celebration at Superbowl UK in Widnes to mark their efforts throughout 2017.
The group enjoyed an afternoon of Laser Quest action.
The event provided a chance to the recognise the hard work of the students, who have flourished studying at the centre.
It is the latest in a new partnership with Superbowl UK, who have recently signed up as a Stronghold discount partner.
The Vikings Learning Centre is Halton’s leading provider of education and training for adults who are out of education, ● work or training.
Working with Riverside College, Widnes Vikings offer a range of opportunities that enable people to fulfil their potential and gain new opportunities.
It has a 100% pass-rate across all programmes, with examples of learners going on to gain exciting new opportunities in education, employment or apprenticeships.
Widnes Vikings head of education Liam Clark said: “We are extremely grateful to Superbowl UK for welcoming the Vikings Learning Centre students down for a day of fun and laughter.
“It was great to see the students with a smile on their face and enjoying themselves, after a year of hard work in the classroom.
“We are looking forward to more reasons to celebrate with our students in 2018.”
The Vikings Learning Centre offers a range of both short courses and qualifications.
It enables students to gain NCFE Qualifications in key areas such as sports and employability skills.
It also allows students to receive recognised qualifications in maths and English, and gain valuable work experience.
