Companies aim to prepare for Brexit
MANUFACTURERS in Halton are invited to events which will help them to develop a plan to prepare for Brexit.
Three gatherings will be held across Cheshire in February.
The first is at The Base in Warrington on Friday, February 9, from 8.30am to 12pm.
The second will take place at Ellesmere Port Civic Hall on Wednesday, February 14, between 8am and 11.30am and is being held in partnership with the Cheshire West And Chester Council.
The final event is in partnership with The Skills And Growth Company and is taking place at Sandbach manufacturing firm Delta Balustrades on Thursday, February 22, from 8am to 11.30am.
These events are a Manufacturing Growth Fund initiative delivered in partnership with the Cheshire And Warrington Growth Hub, and will offer the area’s manufacturers an outline of what Brexit means for small and medium manufacturing firms, providing them with the tools to start preparing their businesses.
Speakers will provide an outline of the implications of Brexit for British manufacturers.
This will be followed a panel discussion answering audience questions.
Attendees will then take part in workshops to help them grasp the practical implications of Brexit and put together a plan for their business, and there will also be a chance to seek further specialised advice from the event’s speakers, including an international trade advisor from The Growth Company, on the full range of manufacturing issues.
