It’s goat to be perfect for George

-

● A WIDNES youngster is due to become one of the UK’s most recognisable faces after being selected to appear on more than one million milk cartons.

Seven-year-old George Nicholls has been chosen by St Helen’s Farm to feature as its latest carton star. He wrote to the goat dairy farm, based in Yorkshire, about how their product has helped his intolerance to cow milk.

George’s mum Dawn Nicholls said: “We were recommended to try goats’ milk by a friend who works for the NHS to help George with his allergies.

“He likes it so much he tells all his friends to try it and we as a family have all switched to goats’ milk, not only because of the health benefits but because it works perfectly for the whole family and tastes great.

“If a fussy eater like our seven-year-old loves goats’ milk then everyone should try it and see the benefits.”

Research has shown that goat milk is nutritionally closest to cows’ than other alternatives but has certain physical properties that set it apart.

This often means that people who struggle to digest cows’ milk can consume the product from goats without any problems.

St Helen’s Farm marketing manager Vicky Unwin said: “We often hear about how customers have overcome health or wellbeing issues by making the simple switch to goats’ milk from cows’ milk.

“George’s story is great in that it has allowed him to have a less restrictive diet and is a fantastic testimonial to showcase the benefits of goats’ milk.

“We also like to encourage people who don’t have intolerances to try our products as part of a healthy and balanced diet and we are currently running a money back guarantee if people don’t love the taste.

“This is a great way for people to discover the benefits of varying your dairy and goats’ milk products.”
