Grosvenor House to be auctioned in London

GROSVENOR House in Runcorn is to go under the hammer this month.

The building, now rebranded Halton 5, has been listed with a guide price of £650,000.

Allsop auctioneer­s said the office block offers a yield of 16.56% and annual rents of £107,621.49, with some vacant units remaining.

Existing tenants include Citizens Advice Halton, Mike Amesbury MP’s constituen­cy office, three firms of solicitors and T Mobile and Hutchison 3G, which rent the roofspace to host an aerial.

The full site has 92,131 square feet of floor space.

According to Land Registry deeds, Jerseybase JCAM Commercial Real Estate bought the building on November 21, 2014 for £815,606 not including VAT.

The office has planning permission in place for conversion into 63 flats, granted under government permitted developmen­t rules.

Halton 5 is next door to Runcorn Shopping City and opposite Runcorn Police Station.

It is due up for auction as lot 29 at The Berkeley, Wilton Place, London, SW1X 7RL, on Thursday, March 22, during the morning session starting at 10am. ●
