WIDNES Vikings have signed a sponsorship deal with Liverpool John Lennon Airport (LJLA) that will see the transport gateway’s brand promoted at the club’s stadium and across its media.

The deal was launched with a visit to the airport by head coach Denis Betts and Vikings co-captain Joe Mellor.

The pair met senior managers and heard about LJLA’s latest developments.
