The first took place after officers were alerted to reports of threats being made in Halton Brook at around 8.53pm.

A police search involving a helicopter carried out a detailed search but could not locate ‘the offenders’.

Officers did, however, locate an abandoned motorbike suspected to be linked to the incident on Main Street near the Town Park entry gate towards Stockham Lane at around 10.30pm.

Two suspects dumped the motorbike and ran off.

During their enquiries, officers arrested one man for being drunk and disorderly but he was de-arrested after apologising for his behaviour. Anyone with any information can call Cheshire police on 101 quoting IML 179716 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
