Was Tic-Tac UFO new form of technology?

- BY OLIVER CLAY oliver.clay@trinitymirror.com @OliverClayRWWN

AFORMER police detective heading to Runcorn this month hosting a show at The Brindley has said the UFO at the heart of the recent landmark USS Nimitz ‘Tic-Tac’ case could have been a secret hybrid vehicle capable of travelling below and above water – and developed here on Earth rather by visitors from space.

Trevor Marriott, revealed his take on the 2004 USS Nimitz sightings ahead of an upcoming talk in which he turns his investigative skills and principles to looking whether the 1969 Moon landings were faked including evidence he said ‘casts major doubts’ on the official version, and also the broad topic of the UFO phenomenon, taking place at The Brindley on September 20. Asked by the Weekly News for his views on the Nimitz incident and the baffling ‘declassified’ infrared footage released in late 2017, he urged caution against jumping to concluding that aliens were responsible, instead suggesting that secret earthly technology was more likely explanation.

The USS Nimitz sightings were reported to have happened in November 2004, with six separate Super Hornet aircraft spotting the unknown object, which was described as resembling a ‘Tic-Tac’ and as moving with staggering aerodynamic mobility and speed.

Footage of the case was released as part of the launch of To The Stars Academy next-generation engineering research and media group, after its release was reportedly secured by former US intelligence officer Luis Elizondo, cited by the Washington Post as being the Pentagon’s lead on a secret programme to investigate UFOs known as the Advanced Aerial Threat Identification Program.

The sightings made the leap from fringe and tabloid publications to the New York Times and Washington Post, where they were given sober coverage about the baffling evidence at hand.

Ex-murder squad investigator Trevor Marriott said that as a professional investigator, were he tasked to look into the incident, he would ‘take a step back’ and go through every detail, checking Commander David Fravor’s credentials and if he was a real Navy pilot, whether he was stationed on the Nimitz, why he had decided to speak out after 14 years and why there had not been further corroboration from other witnesses.

Other areas to probe would be why the information is not governed by US-equivalent Official Secrets Act legislation, why the US Government has allowed its release and why there is no time or date stamp on the infrared camera footage – which he said meant it ‘could be from anywhere’.

He said the Nimitz inci- ● dent, although not one of the cases he discusses in his upcoming audio-visual show at The Brindley, could be a secret hybrid craft capable of travelling below water and above, and has some similarities to the 1967 Shag Harbour incident off the coast of Nova Scotia in Canada, which involved a mystery object crashing into the sea

Outlining his reasoning he said: “So if this incident did take place what was the object seen and where was it from?

“Extraterrestrial or from this Earth?

“On the face of it, it has the appearance of a satellite, perhaps military falling out of control to earth which the military needed to recover, perhaps the reason the ships were in that area.

“The other possibility which is perhaps more plausible is that what was seen was an experimental top secret hybrid craft which could operate above and below the sea.

“This may sound sci-fi but we would be wrong to simply discard the fact that submarines are being phased out by the military, none are being made save for a handful of nuclear subs so craft are being developed to operate above and below the water.

“These craft would have to be tested against the weaponry now in existence.

“I seem to recall the pilot stating that he was on a training mission and that his plane was not loaded with live ammunition so that may be a pointer to a military exercise, and the pilot purposely being kept in the dark about what the exercise entailed so as to see how he would react, and how the craft would react.

“The other issue is that we have a fully-armed warship, and I am sure that standard procedure would be that if any UFO came close to the ship and failed to acknowledge any radio contact, armed jets would be scrambled, and the ships crew be alerted to an imminent attack.

“With regards to the development of hybrid craft, the US does have at least one known undersea research centre of The Bahamas which they have had since 1967.

“It is believed there may be others, Russia, and China, are also believed to have the same facilities in Murmansk, and Hainan Island.”

He added: “If you are not aware of a similar incident, which may involve hybrid craft may I refer you to The Shag Harbour incident, October 4, 1967.

“In reality we have to accept that the military are developing new weaponry that involves new craft.

“That come with a price in that the.craft have to be tested, that testing has to be done out in the open.

“A lot is clearly done under the cover of darkness, but at times these new craft are seen in daylight.

“As they are not conventional craft as we have come to know when seen the onus is to always suggest that they are from another world.

“When this happen the authorities are only too happy for this to happen as it deflects away from going public with what they are developing.

“I refer to Area 51 where strange craft were seen at night.

“The strange craft were nothing more than stealth plane being tested.

“But the test pilots complained that they were not being able to be fully tested in the daylight, and so the authorities eventually had to go public and release details of the new planes.”
