Chamber announces line up of events for autumn

HALTON Chamber Of Commerce And Enterprise has announced a series of upcoming events from its autumn calendar.

As well as a business fair, the season’s offerings include the chance to find out how the Chamber can support companies, and there will also be the opportunit­y to see behind the scenes with a thriving independen­t manufactur­er.

First off, at 10am on Tuesday, November 13, at the Municipal Building in Widnes, Halton Chamber has invited businesses for a drop-in meet-the-Chamber event with tea and biscuits for entreprene­urs.

Those attending can find out how the group can support companies.

Members and non-members are welcome.

Then, from 9am for a 9.30am start on Tuesday, November 20, there will be the chance to visit Halton’s Business Of The Year 2018, LPW Technology, on Dennis Road in Widnes.

The event at the high-tech metal powders firm is free and aimed at encouragin­g collaborat­ion, best practice sharing and networking with other businesses operating in the science and manufactur­ing sectors.

Places are limited with booking required.

Halton And Warrington Business Fair will be taking place at the Halton Stadium this year, starting at 10.30am on November 1.

The 10th anniversar­y event is expected to showcase more than 40 exhibitors and more than 300 visitors.

Businesses will be running special offers and prize giveaways as well as hosting workshops on topics such as buying strategies and the secrets to a great 60-second pitch.

Andy Guile, of Internatio­nal Coaching Academy, will be holding a free coaching session and Cloudnine Bodyworks will be providing a free acupressur­e massage to delegates.

Businesspe­ople will also be able to find out about cyber security and business support.

Visiting the event is free while hosting a stalls start at £125 plus VAT.
