Pharmaceuticals firm in major rebrand exercise

-

A MAJOR Runcorn pharmaceuticals firm has rebranded.

The company said the move had ‘refreshed’ its visual identity and made it more patient-centric.

Teva, which has employs about 550 staff in Runcorn, launched the brand at the 2019 NHS Health And Care Innovation Expo in Manchester, which attracts around 5,000 sector professionals.

The revamped logo will start to be rolled out on packaging in 2020.

It is hoped the brighter design will help to lure the best staff.

To complement the overhaul, Teva has also created a website for patients called ‘Life Effects’ featuring stories of real-life experiences.

Teva is the UK’s biggest prescription medicines supplier with 1,000 staff in the UK.

Steve Forrester-Coles, Teva Runcorn site general manager, said: “The launch of the new Teva brand in the UK is about keeping patients at the heart of everything we do.

“We’re not the most famous company in the world but what we do here makes a difference to millions of lives.”

Neil Hoskings, Teva’s UK and Ireland human resources director, said: “As a successful business we’re constantly looking to find great people to work for us, so we do our best to make Teva a great place to work.

“Part of being a place that people want to work is to go the extra mile in terms of how your employer treats you, but also it’s about having a clear picture of what we’re trying to do together, and being part of a fresh, modern brand.” ●
