Alan Magee (180) put the Stadium into the lead despite a Karl Windisch (180, 17 Darts).

Leon Littler then won the next for the Goldmine but the Stadium hit back taking the next seven with wins from Robbie Gorst (14 Darts), Robbie Gorst & Tony Jackson (16 Darts, 18 Darts), John Bowles (180) & Alan Magee despite a Terry Roach 180, Kev Garcia & Ste Barrow, Kev Garcia (17 darts) despite a Terry Roach 17 Darts, Ste Barrow (180) and Jonny Leather to give them the match.

● Simm’s Cross Institute B at home to Widnes Bowling Cub

The Bowler took a five-game lead with wins coming from Alex McGill, Danny Magee, Rob Magee, Alex Magill & Tommy Robertson and Joe Batty & Dave Gerrard. Luke Lund & Callum McCaffery then pulled one back for the Stute before the Bowler took another two games with wins from Joe Batty and Dave Gerrard to complete the win.

Credit to the Stute though, they never gave in and took the last thanks to Andrew McCaffery.

● Goldmine B at home to the Hammer & Pincers

Merv Grady took the first for the Hammer only to see the Goldmine snatch the lead back with wins for Colin Grindley and Phil Dunn.

Into the doubles and the Hammer took another with a win from Andy Ellis & Chris Ellis to draw level, but the Goldmine regained the lead through a couple of wins from Colin Grindley & Andrew Holden, and Alan Jones & Phil Dunn.

Back to the singles and Sean Connor gave the Hammer a third win, but that was their lot as first Jimmy Holden and then Gareth Bamford won for the Goldmine to give them the match.
