BEATING MAN HAD CANNABIS

ASSAULTING another male by beating in Runcorn has landed a St Helens man with a £485 legal bill.

Jordan Carter, 18, of Pasture Close, Clockface, appeared at North Cheshire Magistrates’ Court on July 7, where he pleaded guilty to the Section 39 offence, plus simple cannabis possession.

He was fined £80 for having the Class B drug and £120 for the assault, and ordered to pay £200 in compensation and £85 in costs.
