Virtual meeting for CCG

NHS Halton Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) is holding its first virtual annual general meeting today (September 10).

The CCG, which plans and buys healthcare services in the borough, is due to host the session online at 10.30am.

It is due to last an hour and include presentations on the CCG’s challenges and achievements in 2019-20, its 2019-20 accounts and plans for the year ahead.

The CCG issued a press release about the event last Thursday, September 3, after the last Weekly News was published.

The public are expected to have already registered to watch and submitted any questions.

A CCG spokeswoman said: “It will also include a question and answer session with the CCG’s governing body and information on the work of the CCG’s engagement and involvement group, which includes patient representatives and representatives from local voluntary and community organisations.”
