BUGGED BY BUGGIES

Roland Gibbard (RW, Feb) complained about a race organiser who awarded a two-year-old the prize for first female. In fairness, I see where he is coming from and, as a buggy runner myself, I have thought of contacting race and Parkrun organisers to encourage them to introduce a category for competitors running with a buggy, or even better, allow a child to be registered as being in a buggy. This would surely appease people like Roland, who bear a grudge against two-year-olds who steal their prizes!
