After a few years of allowing the weight to creep up on this popular shoe – traditionally a hybrid of a racing and training shoe – Asics has dropped nearly 30g from this model to make it suitable again for longer races. However, this meant that testers who only experienced the last couple of versions were put off by the sudden lower weight and loss of support. The addition of fulllength Flytefoam is welcome.
