Two Oceans Marathon

CAPE TOWN, SOUTH AFRICA, APRIL 15

Now in its 48th year, this 56km ultra in South Africa (there’s also a half marathon) is one of the most beautiful races in the world. Apart from a couple of testing climbs up Chapman’s Peak and Constantia Nek, the route is fairly flat, taking you through the city and along the coast, and finishing at the University of Cape Town. If the run itself isn’t enough to take your breath away, the stunning views of the Indian and Atlantic Oceans certainly will.
