If you’re the sort of person who likes to wear your best clobber as race motivation, best give this one a swerve. There’s no way to avoid getting soaking wet and covered in sludge from head to toe in this five- or 10-mile (you choose on the day) obstacle run in Elvenden Estate, which is hosted by – and run in aid of – the East Anglian Air Ambulance. You’ll be running, crawling and scrambling your way up, over and through more than 40 obstacles to the finish line – and the organisers say they’re making this year’s event even muddier because that’s what participants want, apparently.
