AT THE START OF 2016, IT engineer Costin Boldisor decided to run every street in central London within the year (aside from those where pedestrians are not permitted). ‘My running had started to suffer because I was doing the same old routes and getting demotivated,’ he says. ‘I wanted to rekindle the joy I’d felt when I first started running and discovering new places. Little did I know how difficult it would prove, requiring rigorous planning and tracking.’ Costin developed his own app, Plannrun, to help him with the logistics, and he completed the challenge on December 27.
