Midnight Mountain Marathon

Forests, streams, waterfalls, mountainous climbs, gritted teeth, toys being thrown out of prams and knackered exultation will all feature at this fierce 26.2 at Talybont-on-usk in the Brecon Beacons. The start is at 5.30pm and the ‘midnight’ referred to is the cutoff time to complete the race. If you’re thinking, ‘That’s not so bad,’ bear in mind there’s a total climb of 1,500m and parts of the course are used by British Special Forces in their selection process (we know this will make some of you even more keen).
