Isle of Wight XC Half

A challenging but highly rewarding 13.1-mile jaunt around the land of the Caulkheads. The route is a masochistic mix of tough and beautiful, as you run around the tip of the western coast of the island, and history buffs will love the chance to pass the famous Needles monument, which is a memorial to the tests Guglielmo Marconi did on the island at the turn of the 20th century when developing radio transmissions.
