Man vs Lakes
Another cracker from Rat Race, the obstacle- and adventure-racing specialists. It’s a 26.2-mile odyssey that takes in the sands of Morecambe Bay, a crossing of Lake Windermere (at its narrowest point), rope swings, a ‘vertical kilometre’ climb, single-track forest paths, mountainous terrain and so much more that we don’t have the space to describe it all here. There’ll be a pint of beer waiting at the finish line and many participants take advantage of the glamping option to stick around and party into the night (or just flop down and sleep).
