New Forest Marathon

This is but one race of seven over the course of what is a jam-packed day of fun in one of the most stunning areas in the UK. At the more sedate end are a woodland walk and a kids’ event, but the marathon itself sees runners tackling a course that, aside from the odd foray onto the road, is inside the New Forest itself. All very lovely, but we feel sorry for the beautiful New Forest ponies who are papped so often by passing runners that they really should have their own image rights deal.
