Road improvement work to take place

Improvement works are taking place on Cambuslang roads this week.

Resurfacing work will take place on Greenlees Road between Vicarland Road, and Main Street, Cambuslang, which started on Monday this week, and will continue until Sunday, August 24.

The alternative route will be via Glasgow Road, Blairbeth Road, Mill Street, Main Street, Hamilton Road, Cambuslang Road, Glasgow Road, Main Street, Western Road and Langlea Road.

For all the road closures diversion signs will be in place and clearly marked.

Sections of Bridge Street and Westburn Drive, Cambuslang, were closed to allow resurfacing improvements to be made at the roundabout on Clydeford Road, which were finished on Monday.
