YES cavalcade
Members of Yes Rutherglen took part in a massive car cavalcade on Sunday which travelled the Spine of Scotland from Aberdeen through Stirling and around South Lanarkshire before culminating in Strathclyde Park. The event was to mark one month to Polling day in the Independence Referendum and drew Yes supporters from all over Scotland.
Local Yes co-ordinator Margaret Ferrier said: “It was fantastic to meet Yes supporters from the length and breadth of Scotland and that come September 18, Scotland will once again become an Independent nation. Scots voters are showing they have the backbone to resist the No campaign of fear and will choose a smarter, safer and greener nation for the generations to come.”
