New starts are twice as nice at county pri­mary schools

There were sev­eral dou­ble acts at lo­cal pri­maries as chil­dren through­out Ruther­glen and Cam­bus­lang started school for the very first time.

Sev­eral sets of twins be­gan school for the very first time, and the Re­former was there to snap the happy young­sters as they con­tinue their ed­u­ca­tion from nurs­ery in to school.

You’ve also been send­ing in your pic­tures of your lit­tle ones on their first day at school, and we will print more of th­ese next week.
