Feast yourself on the music of yesteryear
A musical blast from the past
A musical trip down memory lane is coming to Rutherglen Town Hall next month.
On Tuesday, October 14, a night of music is coming to the Royal Burgh, with popular songs from throughout the decades.
Tracing six decades of music with an emphasis on nostalgia, Rolling Back The Years will have a feast of sing-a-long favourites from Judy Garland, Fred Astaire, Frank Sinatra, stretching to Cliff Richard, Showaddywaddy, Abba and many more.
A spokesman for the show said: “The beautiful costumes will change with each decade of memories.
“The music will take you through a feast of some of the greatest songs ever written, including tributes to the sounds of swing, country and western, Jersey Boys, 50s, 60s, 70s and some of the greatest musicals.
“From the largest nostalgia show producers in the UK, this is an afternoon and evening of song, dance, and comedy for everyone.
“This is a fully choreographed show performed by four worldclass singers and the amazing Memory Lane dancers.
“Rolling Back The Years is the perfect show for those who think, ‘they don’t make songs like they used to’.”
This is another sensational show from the producers of Memory Lane, Memories are Made of This and All Our Yesterdays, which have previously visited the Town Hall.
It will take place at the Town Hall on October 14, with the show running from 7.309.30pm.
The minimum age for entry is 10 years, and tickets are priced at £13, with £12 concessions.
