Travel back to Great War

The Friends of Cambuslang Park are giving locals the chance to travel through time this weekend.

They are holding their annual Back In Time event this Saturday, November 15

s this year marks the centenary of the outbreak of World War I, there will be old photos and artefacts on display, including some from the Great War period.

Back In Time features old pictures and objects from Cambuslang’s past, with interest in the event growing with each passing year.

There will also be a tea room, which is always hugely popular with visitors.

Back In Time will run from 1.30-4.30pm.
