Money saving event

Rutherglen MP Tom Greatrex is hosting a money saving advice event this week, to help constituents with advice on money as the winter months kick in.

This will be held tomorrow (Thursday), and will take place in the Whitlawburn Community Resource Centre, on Belmont Road, Cambuslang, from 3-6pm.

The session will cover issues relating to dealing with personal debt, advice on saving money on monthly bills like fuel, and also other advice options including routes to employment and training. Constituents can drop-in any time and visit a number of different stalls – organisations in attendance will include Cambuslang and Hamilton Citizen Advice Bureaus, Money Matters, Routes to Work South, Blantyre Credit Union, LEAP and the Energy Savings Trust, amongst others.
