Take a health check this year

-

Forget fry-ups and fizzy pop and choose healthy options to tackle over-indulgence this Christmas.

The time in between Christmas and New Year many of us have drunk more than usual over the festive period, eaten tons of naughty food.

Why not start today with a healthier three-pronged approach.

Painkillers – Did you know that when you exercise, your body releases natural painkillers and it also releases happy hormones? This way, you will be rid of the fuzzy head and it will get you back into the party mood.

Breathing in oxygen is essential for flushing the toxins from overdoing it. It boosts circulation and improves energy levels.

So, get out there for a fresh walk in the park with the kids.

Drink around two litres of water a day to help the body detox, the liver recover and give your metabolism a kick. If you are not keen on water, add a squeeze of lemon or for a warm drink on these chilly days or try herbal teas.
