Christ­mas fayre was just mega

Flemington Hall­side Church have thanked ev­ery­one who made their Christ­mas mega fayre their best ever.

There were two busy tea rooms, which saw roar­ing trade, as well as a Christ­mas stall, cake and candy, cards , tow­els, a bot­tle stall, can­dle­craft and knitwear, toi­letries, knick-nacks, gar­den­ing club stalls and a toy stall.

The church were de­lighted with the turnout and the support of the lo­cal com­mu­nity.

Rev Neil Glover said: “It was an ex­cel­lent day, and we had a fan­tas­tic turnout.

“So far, we’ve raised over £3000, which is one of the high­est to­tals we’ve ever had.

“Once again, it was fan­tas­tic to see so many peo­ple from dif­fer­ent sec­tions of the com­mu­nity com­ing to­gether and en­joy­ing them­selves be­fore Christ­mas.

“We are hugely grate­ful to all of the vol­un­teers who en­abled the event to hap­pen.”
