Christmas fayre was just mega

Flemington Hallside Church have thanked everyone who made their Christmas mega fayre their best ever.

There were two busy tea rooms, which saw roaring trade, as well as a Christmas stall, cake and candy, cards , towels, a bottle stall, candlecraft and knitwear, toiletries, knick-nacks, gardening club stalls and a toy stall.

The church were delighted with the turnout and the support of the local community.

Rev Neil Glover said: “It was an excellent day, and we had a fantastic turnout.

“So far, we’ve raised over £3000, which is one of the highest totals we’ve ever had.

“Once again, it was fantastic to see so many people from different sections of the community coming together and enjoying themselves before Christmas.

“We are hugely grateful to all of the volunteers who enabled the event to happen.”
