Christmas coffee morning

A Cambuslang church has held a successful Christmas coffee morning.

St Cuthbert’s Episcopal Church, on the corner of Greenlees Road and Brownside Road, held a successful event that raised £250.

This included a stall run by the granddaughter of congregation member Amber Roach, who had to raise funds for a forthcoming school trip to Vietnam to assist in the building of an orphanage and to teach English to the children.

She was very grateful to the organisers at the church for giving her the opportunity to raise funds, as well as giving her a donation.
