Fern­hill lads raise money for some great causes

Fratelli’s and ev­ery­one who gave so kindly to our raf­fles and a big thank you to all the Sun Inn staff for help­ing our par­ties go so well. As most peo­ple know we have a Christ­mas raf­fle in Mor­risons Cam­bus­lang and this Christ­mas we raised £902.00 the first three win­ners were; L Shevlin £150 Mor­risons vouch­ers, J Hurles £50.00 Mor­risons vouch­ers, Cllr Clare McColl won £20 Mor­risons vouch­ers, which she has do­nated to the lo­cal food bank, so a very big thank you to store man­ager Stephen An­der­son, all the staff and cus­tomers for their won­der­ful support. Liz Wat­son Sec­re­tary, Cam­bus­lang Sum­mer­fest. We re­cently had a Fern­hill Boys night for all the lads that play foot­ball, and lads from Fern­hill.

We raised £235, and £100 will go to the OAP party to pay for an en­ter­tainer, and £100 will go to help with the bus that takes kids to the pan­tomime.
