SNP
A vote for the SNP is a vote to make Scotland’s voice heard at Westminster like never before and to deliver progressive change for people across the UK.
We are the only party offering an alternative to the harsh Westminster cuts agenda – cuts that have disproportionately affected both women and the disabled.
These cuts have fuelled in-work poverty and driven millions to food banks.
We will abolish the‘Bedroom Tax’. We will scrap Trident and instead invest the £100billion in healthcare and a world-class childcare programme.
Our proposals for a modest increase in public spending will allow us to invest in the NHS and other vital public services.
In doing so we can help grow our economy and lift people out of poverty.
By raising the minimum wage to £8.70 an hour by 2020, banning exploitative zero-hour contracts, restoring the 50p top rate of income tax and helping small businesses, we can create real jobs and restore dignity to millions of people.
The Tories, backed by Labour, propose a further £30billion of cuts. I say enough is enough.
The SNP will use our influence to pull Labour in the right direction. We will never put the Tories into power. Instead, if there is an anti-Tory majority after the election, we will work with other progressive parties to lock the Tories out of Downing Street.
We are the best-placed party to stand up to the Tories. To paraphrase this week’s editorial in a Sunday newspaper:“Voting SNP is a no-brainer for Scots whose first priority is keeping David Cameron out of Number 10.”
We are also best placed to fight for the powers we were promised during the referendum, powers that will strengthen the Scottish Parliament.
Please vote SNP tomorrow and together we can build a fairer, stronger Scotland.
