Care club are all smiles

-

Cambuslang and District Voluntary Care Club held a successful coffee morning recently.

It took place over two hours in the St Andrew’s hall of Cambuslang Parish Church, and it proved to be a great success.

The club was formed in November 1963, and is a meeting place for adults with learning and/or physical difficulties and provides leisure facilities in the company of friends of all ages.

The club meets on Wednesday evenings and usually starts at 6.30pm with a cup of tea, sandwich and cake and can be quite a noisy but happy affair when everyone is trying to chat at the same time. This is followed by carpet bowls, dominoes and other games.
