Man denies catalogue of charges

A Toryglen man appeared at court this week facing several charges.

Francis Ryan, of Prospecthill Crescent, appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Tuesday, July 21.

On May 20, 2014, at the Asda store on Prospecthill Road, Ryan is accused of acting in a threatening and abusive manner by shouting, swearing and gesticulating aggressively.

He is also accused of shouting, swearing and uttering racist remarks to a person.

The 53-year-old pleaded not guilty and was ordained to reappear on August 4.
