Sup­port when it’s most needed

The Cam­bus­lang Be­reave­ment Sup­port Group is on hand to sup­port lo­cal peo­ple who are griev­ing af­ter the loss of a loved one.

The group is avail­able twice a month on Wed­nes­days at Cam­bus­lang Parish Church, Arnott Way, from 10am un­til noon.

The ser­vice is open to church-go­ers and nonchurch peo­ple alike.

A spokesman for the group urged peo­ple suf­fer­ing from loss to go along.

He said: “We con­tinue to meet on the first and third Wed­nes­day of each month in the Mor­ris­ton Room of Cam­bus­lang Parish Church, Arnott Way, Cam­bus­lang.

“No ap­point­ment is nec­es­sary and all who feel the need to talk about a dif­fi­culty they are ex­pe­ri­enc­ing with re­gard to a be­reave­ment, ei­ther re­cently or in the past, will be lis­tened to and heard, by a group of peo­ple who have been trained in these skills.

“We usu­ally of­fer a cup of tea or cof­fee and it would be your choice ei­ther to speak to one of our sup­port­ers one to one, or share if you pre­fer, with oth­ers who have been in a sim­i­lar sit­u­a­tion.”
