Support when it’s most needed

-

The Cambuslang Bereavement Support Group is on hand to support local people who are grieving after the loss of a loved one.

The group is available twice a month on Wednesdays at Cambuslang Parish Church, Arnott Way, from 10am until noon.

The service is open to church-goers and nonchurch people alike.

A spokesman for the group urged people suffering from loss to go along.

He said: “We continue to meet on the first and third Wednesday of each month in the Morriston Room of Cambuslang Parish Church, Arnott Way, Cambuslang.

“No appointment is necessary and all who feel the need to talk about a difficulty they are experiencing with regard to a bereavement, either recently or in the past, will be listened to and heard, by a group of people who have been trained in these skills.

“We usually offer a cup of tea or coffee and it would be your choice either to speak to one of our supporters one to one, or share if you prefer, with others who have been in a similar situation.”
