A fan­tas­tic day of fun

Ruther­glen Uni­ver­sal Con­nec­tions had a fan­tas­tic fun day last Fri­day.

The youth club, which has had more trips and ac­tiv­i­ties than they have ever had dur­ing any other sum­mer, held the event at the end of last week.

Uni­ver­sal Con­nec­tions is open to all young peo­ple in high school, in­clud­ing the P7s who are head­ing into S1 in Au­gust.

The first fam­ily fun day took place last Fri­day, July 17, from noon-3pm.

There was face paint­ing, glit­ter tat­toos, prize bingo, a raf­fle, re­fresh­ments and lots more, and ev­ery­one who went along had a great time.

The next fun day will run on Tues­day, Au­gust 4, from noon- 3pm. At 1pm, ma­gi­cian Gary Dunn will be per­form­ing, with other at­trac­tions in­clud­ing hot dogs, re­fresh­ments, face paint­ing, glit­ter tat­toos and more. En­try is £1 and free for the un­der­t­wos.
