A fantastic day of fun

- Kenny Smith

Rutherglen Universal Connections had a fantastic fun day last Friday.

The youth club, which has had more trips and activities than they have ever had during any other summer, held the event at the end of last week.

Universal Connections is open to all young people in high school, including the P7s who are heading into S1 in August.

The first family fun day took place last Friday, July 17, from noon-3pm.

There was face painting, glitter tattoos, prize bingo, a raffle, refreshments and lots more, and everyone who went along had a great time.

The next fun day will run on Tuesday, August 4, from noon- 3pm. At 1pm, magician Gary Dunn will be performing, with other attractions including hot dogs, refreshments, face painting, glitter tattoos and more. Entry is £1 and free for the undertwos.
