Renault’s Talisman

Renault has released details of its latest model – the Talisman – the successor to the Laguna saloon.

The newcomer will go on sale in Europe by the end of this year and then be launched in Turkey and North Africa.

It is a handsome masculine looking car which previews the face of the next Megane hatchback.

It is longer than VW’s Passat and according to the manufacturer will offer best-in-class passenger space as well as a huge 608-litre boot.

There will be a choice of three diesel and two petrol engines but currently there are no plans to offer it here due to the Laguna’s lack of success.
