Papillon open second nursery
Children and staff at Papillon nursery are celebrating the recent opening of their second nursery based in Strathclyde Business Park, Bellshill.
Papillon Nursery is still also based in Maxim Office Park.
Papillon has grown in numbers and reputation since opening in 2006 and is rated by both Care Inspectorate and HMIe as one of Scotland’s top performing nurseries.
The nursery provides high quality education and care in a nurturing and safe environment.
Papillon Nursery offers a unique, professional and caring staff team.
Both nurseries have excellent, fully enclosed play areas and we believe outdoor play is for every day.
The nursery is in partnership with North Lanarkshire Council and is able to offer subsidised places to children three to five years (discounted government fee price for three to five year olds also available at new Bellshill nursery).
They also work closely with NLC development officers to ensure the National curriculum is delivered to a very high standard.
As a nursery proprietor and working mum of four children the proprietor, Fiona Leggat, is very aware of the implications for working parents who struggle to find childcare that can accommodate modern family and working lives and so Fiona is happy to offer individual tailor made packages to suit each child.
All meals and snacks are provided by the nursery and included in daily fees.
Fiona believes her staff team to be hard working and dedicated but this is probably best reflected in some parent comments made to the Care Inspectorate at the recent inspection which included the following:
“Papillon provides an excellent service; I would highly recommend this service to others”
“I feel very reassured that I am leaving my child in a safe, secure and welcoming environment”
“The staff are a great asset to the nursery and have a huge role in my child’s development”
“Staff are professional and caring at all times. Staff turnover is low, allowing children to form a strong bond”
“Papillon is an excellent nursery which is constantly striving to provide new experiences and new ways of engaging my child in activities”
