Transform yourself into a healthier, happier person

- Fiona Pendani

What’s your motivation?

If you want to lose some weight and become fitter and healthier but haven’t yet got the motivation to take the first step, how can you get yourself “in the zone”?

Looking at success from family, friends or colleagues could be a good start.

If you know someone that’s made a difference to their health and their outlook by losing some weight then have a chat with them and ask them how their life has changed and what keeps them motivated.

Reading success stories either in the newspapers, on social media such as Facebook, or in our Weight Watchers magazine can be a big inspiration.

Seeing “before” and “after” photographs of normal people who have taken that first step and have been transformed into a happier, healthier, younger looking version of themselves can really make you want to make that change for yourself.

Visualise yourself feeling healthier, happier and with more energy.

Try imagining what success will look like for you in the future, imagine how much weight you will have lost and how many clothes sizes you will have gone down.

Imagine what you want your future to look like, is there and event coming up that you would like to look and feel good for?

Although I hate to mention Christmas in September, think about how you want to feel at your work’s night out or on Xmas day at a family party.

Imagine yourself in a party dress or suit in a smaller size. You can do it.

If you need some help come along and join one of our great Weight Watchers meetings where you will meet people who have changed their lives for the better.

I myself get inspiration every week from my lovely meeting members who have some really fantastic success stories. Success breeds success.

We’ve got two fantastic healthy weight watchers recipes for you to enjoy this week......
