Your chance to see the Smallest Show on Earth

- Staff reporter

A hilarious new comedy is coming to the Theatre Royal in Glasgow next week - and the Reformer has two pairs of tickets to give away.

The Smallest Show on Earth is a brand new musical comedy inspired by the 1950s film starring Peter Sellers, and it has its Scottish premiere at the Theatre Royal from Monday, October 26, until Saturday, October 31.

This feel-good musical features classic songs by Irving Berlin (Blue Skies, Shakin’ the Blues Away, Steppin’ Out With My Baby) and stars Liza Goddard (Bergerac) and Brian Capron (Coronation Street).

Stunned to discover they have inherited the Bijou cinema, two innocent newlyweds have their hopes dashed when they discover it is a total flea-pit.

To restore it to its former glory and stop the wrecking ball, they need to get eccentric manageress, Mrs Fazackalee (Goddard) and Mr Quill (Capron), the unreliable projectionist, to help them with their ambitious plans.

Will they manage to make it a Blockbuster or will the whole venture Fade to Black?

We have two pairs of tickets to give away to the Friday, October 30, showing at 7.30pm.

To win them, just answer this simple question: Who starred in the film version of the Smallest Show on Earth? (a) Spike Milligan (b) Peter Sellers (c) Orson Welles Send your answers by email, headed The Smallest Show on Earth, to jonathan. geddes@trinitymirror.com and include your name, address and a daytime telephone number.
