With Christmas being Royal Mail’s busiest time of the year James wanted to personally pass on his thanks to the staff who are working hard sorting and delivering mail across Rutherglen and Cambuslang.

James was shown around the office by the Delivery Office Manager and was introduced to the postmen and women who are sorting and delivering the mail.

The last recommend edposting dat e s for Christmas are: Second Class – Saturday’ December 19, 2015

James said: “It was great to meet the team again at the Rutherglen sorting office, who are already working hard to make sure Christmas cards and presents get to folk on time. They do an excellent job at such a busy time of year and I would like to thank them for all their hard work over the busy festive season.

“Our local postal workers do such an important job at this time of year and it’s important we take the opportunity to highlight and commend their efforts. I wish the whole team at Rutherglen all the best over the busy festive period.”
