Punch trial date

A Cambuslang man is accused of punching another man in the face on Boxing Day.

Andrew Clark, of Braeside Place, is alleged to have carried out the attack on James McCafferty at Overton Road, Cambuslang, on December 26, 2014.

He also faces a charge of banging windows, shouting, swearing and issuing threats at the same location on the same date.

Clark (46) is alleged to have been on bail at the time.

This week at Glasgow Sheriff Court he pleaded not guilty to the charges and trial was set for January 22.
