Man had cannabis

A man pleaded guilty to possession of cannabis and an offensive weapon.

Declan McVeigh, of Pine Avenue, Cambuslang, had the drug at Hallside Boulevard, Cambuslang on February 9. McVeigh ( 20) also had a hurling stick.

This week at Glasgow Sheriff Court sentence was deferred until June 7 for McVeigh to be of good behaviour.
