Charges denied

A Cambuslang pair face claims that they behaved in a threatening or abusive manner by shouting, swearing and uttering threats.

Michelle McGeoch and Gary Roberts, of Jura Terrace, Whitlawburn, are said to have carried out the offences on February 14.

McGeoch (28), is further charged that she assaulted a woman by scratching her on the head with her hand and assaulting another woman by repeatedly slapping her on the head.

Gary Roberts (31), is also alleged to have shouted, swore and uttered threats to a 12-year-old girl.

All the offences are claimed to have taken place at Jura Terrace.

At Glasgow Sheriff Court this week, both accused denied the charges and trial was fixed for January 11, 2016.
